Nano Records 2nd Email

filesharing does more damage then good, but definitely does good too.

bad quality versions of songs being passed around dont really expose people to the true effect of the music, but does get the names into household, music collections, people heads..
i think filesharing should be considered marketing, and if people like the artist should show support by attending gigs, buying music, tee's, something. but yes, filesharing does impact hugely on independent labels, and could possibly force the closure of many independent record labels soon too. it's adapt or die at the moment. whole new approachs have to be thought of, which is not the end of the world. its a new beginning, it's just a matter of not being swallowed by the 'old' system as things change....
